Whatever happened to the 25 Random Things list?

What do you mean?

Weren’t you going to write one of those?

That Facebook “25 Random Things” list/note thing?

Yeah, weren’t you working on one?

Oh.  I thought you were asking me what happened to those lists, like, in general.

Yeah well, they did kind of disappear didn’t they?  Is that why you never did one?  Finished it too late?

I wanted to do it.  Yes.  I really liked all those fun chain notes from late 2008 early 2009– Lately they seem to have been replaced by quiz apps and little multimedia lists of 5 this or 5 thats, which I think is also a Facebook app of some sort.

But you had fun doing the High School Memories one?

I did.

Was that because you felt more comfortable with the Q & A Format?

But you did start to work on one of those lists of 25 Random–

I don’t know.  The random part bothered me.  If you’re making a list- You know?  If  you are organizing things into a list–

I believe it’s called  “25 Random Things You Probably Don’t Know About Me”

Oh, you mean the “you probably don’t know…” part?

So, you never finished your list?

Actually I did.  I got really into it.   But I found that I was mostly writing long paragraphs of these anecdotes and little true stories about my childhood and–

That’s what I’m saying.  If you are going to make a list, why not organize it?

The random stuff is in there.  But it’s like the random facts became just seasoning for the other stuff.  It was all starting to run a bit too long for a fun little Facebook list like that.

Why don’t you serialize it then?  If it was too long for one list?

What do you mean?  Like do 5 sets of 5?

Yeah.  Why not do one set a day, for a week?

Yeah.  You could even do it on your own website as a blog or something.

You do have a website don’t you?  What am I saying?  It’s 2009, Of course you have a website!

Where else would promote your shows and post your videos and give readers treats like semi-regular podcasts to download?

Um.  Yeah.  That’s true I guess.
